Chris Stevenson

Chris Stevenson is a senior marketing, communications, and creative leader with over 20 years of award-winning experience working with mission-driven organizations, cultural institutions, and global NGOs.

He currently leads global communications and content strategy at the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. Previously, he was Vice President of Marketing, Communications, and Strategy at Film at Lincoln Center and Director of Communications at MaRS Discovery District, North America’s largest urban tech innovation hub.

Chris is also the founder of Mashup Creative Strategy, an award-winning consultancy and creative agency whose clients have included Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the United Nations Refugee Agency, Habitat for Humanity, and Compute Ontario. He co-developed the curriculum for the Content Marketing and Multimedia Storytelling program at the University of Toronto, where he was also an instructor.

At the dawn of digital publishing, Chris co-founded SoundProof Magazine, an international indie music site. A triple citizen of Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom, Chris is based in New York City.
